YogaRoots On Location provides professional development to community organizations, foundations, colleges and universities, and more. These engagements build capacity for professionals to examine systems of oppression, their roles in them, and how to create change in the systems they interact with. Workshops and trainings are rooted in self and collective care and the explorations and intersections of Raja Yoga and anti-oppression work. 

All workshops and trainings are customized to meet the needs of your organization. We have offered workshops ranging from 90 minutes to multi-day engagements. Participants should expect to learn, reflect, and integrate the information being shared. This is not just another PowerPoint presentation.

Workshops are for those who want to dismantle racism, patriarchy, and capitalism in a way that centers our histories, our present, and unconditional love. YogaRoots On Location has previously provided professional development for groups of:

Current offerings

  • We’re thrilled to offer Embodied Collective Joy: A Path to Liberation, a new workshop series designed for Beings ready to integrate liberatory practice and community-building into their professional and personal lives. 

    Early burnout is a real factor for those passionate about liberatory work. These workshops aim to ground participants in embodied and conscious practices and offer the tools to engage in sustainable contemplative and radical work. We invite you to join us for the entirety of this 4-part series or for individual workshops.

    The workshops are an immersive learning experience taught via didactic, somatic, group, and individual activities.
