Reclaiming Rest: Retreat For A Day
July 13, 2025 | 2-6PM | Tree Pittsburgh
Join us for a 6-hour retreat rooted in the belief that rest is a radical, collective act of resistance and reclamation. Held at the serene and tree-lined haven of Tree Pittsburgh, this gathering invites participants of all identities and backgrounds to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience rest as a birthright.
In a world that pushes constant productivity and individualism, this retreat offers a sanctuary to pause, breathe, and restore in community. Through healing-centered movement, meditation, mindful eating, and reflective practice, we will explore what it means to reclaim rest as part of personal and collective liberation. The retreat includes:
Restorative and accessible yoga
Guided meditation and breathwork
Time and space for personal restoration practices
Healthy snacks
Catered Caribbean dinner
Hand-crafted beverages and dessert
Community connection
Reclaiming Rest centers inclusivity, care, and accessibility. All bodies, experience levels, and identities are welcome. This is a space for healing, spaciousness, and community-rooted restoration. Come as you are. Leave more whole.
